Establishment of Safe Space for Women and Adolescent Girls in Ten FDMN (Forcibly Displacement Myanmar Nationals) makeshift Settlement and Establishment of Safe Shelter for Women and Adolescent Girls and their children in Cox`s Bazar District

Duration: September 2017 – ongoing

Location: Implementation Strategy of Safe Space Myanmar Refugee camps 08 Unions (Jaliapalong, Rajaplong, Ratnaplaong, Palongkhali, Nhila, Shamlapur, Whykong and Sabrang ) & 10 Makeshift settlement camp (KMS, ZA, BMS, SMS, LMS , SS, JJ, ZZ, XX, LMS ) in Ukhiya & Teknaf  Upazila.

Short description : The project focuses on reducing gender-based violence (domestic and sexual violence Perpetrated against women, boys and girls) in the home and in the society at large, gender-based violence conflict and post conflict and harmful traditional practices, such as improper upbringing and socialization of males and females in the context of their perceived gender roles.
